There is one dent near the front of the horn that you can tell has been repaired it looks good but it is noticeable that it is not perfect in that spot. There may have been a few small dents here and there, but the repairman pushed them out. The slides are greased and the valves oiled. It plays great I played Taps and couple scales to test it. We just got it tuned up at the music store, so it is in great working condition. more and has been in the attic probably not long after it was bought. It is an antique also! It was bought in the 1970s.
